In My Element

The first vineyard crew working to plant George Vineyard's Riesling quit after several months of slow progress. No one held it against them. The site being cleared was situated along a mountainside made of hard volcanic stone buried deep below the surface.

Yet, the site was made for Riesling. Riesling is similar to a blank canvas. The paintbrush is the surrounding elements. The mountainside stone, powerful sunlight, and cold air forming nightly make a flavorful and refreshing Riesling.

'In My Element' is slowly fermented leaving little residual sugar while emphasizing natural flavors. The 2023 vintage is a bright, pure, and complex Riesling rich in stone fruit, bright in zest with flavorings of apricot and pear and a hint of graphite in the finish.
